5.4.2024 from Mače past Kališče to Storžič and back the same way. Weather super, conditions likewise, met maybe 5 hikers the whole day, conditions for Storžič OK, I only used ice axe because due to my late time snow already quite soft, early ones need crampons because quite some snow patches near top. Anyway another wonderful tour  and deserved break at Kališče

Except for the first right gravel bend already above the village, it's completely fine. That bend is really torn up. Slowly, it somehow goes.

Yesterday (14.4.) the road was ok, they added new gravel and no potholes anywhere. Storžič from Kališče steep uphill and summer hot

It was quite bogo yesterday at Kališče. The guy was alone and really didn't “folgal”. Hope that's not the norm…

Through Žrelo you only cross a small snowfield, the path over Škarjev rob is still in snow.

All paths from SW and SE directions are completely snow-free. For northern approaches I don't know.
