Could be better than years ago - but in our mountaineering everything is going more downhill.

I was there on 2 September. There were quite a few potholes on the road and at one spot a mini stream ran across it, but it was possible to get there with a regular car.

Today up through Žrelo, path firm, dry and no issues. Descent over Škarjev rob somewhat awkward, whole upper part to the ridge sprinkled with dry powdery snow (2-10 cm). Slowly and with much caution it went.

On Sunday afternoon I went to Storžič via Žrelo and down via Škarjev rob. The road was normally drivable, although quite wavy in some sections. The path through Žrelo was wet in some parts. One section (see picture) became much harder than usual due to slipperiness. The path via Škarjev rob was without issues. On the way up I met no one (not counting two paragliders gliding nearby), was also alone at the summit. On the way down I met three hikers ascending to Storžič.

Kneaded, topped...well, except "goulash" from ground meat...that the mother-in-law cooked Yeah...there were quite a few pizzas. Overeating all Saturday, then still some left for Sunday
