Hello, I haven't been to Storžič from Kanonir or from Jekarica yet. Has anyone gone this year, what's the state of this road, what's the path like? Description says it's full of fallen trees and detours ... Thanks

Today I went from Grahovše to Storžič. The intention was actually to go from Dom pod Storžičem, but at the first junction after the start of the macadam a temporary no traffic sign in both directions awaited me. Looks like they were renovating the road. When I went back, the sign was already replaced with a road works sign.
Up through Žrelo, down over Škarjev rob. Both paths are completely dry and in good condition. Summit and ridge section of the ascent were in thick fog.

I'd ask the one who zealously hangs flags on the summit to stop. There's already too much "furniture" on top, no need for additional ornaments. Thanks.

Since they bother you, I'm curious if the stickers of various PDs from Croatia don't bother you? Just “take” with you next time to clean that😜
A couple days ago I noticed flags are hung also at the hut under storzicem. There you'd have lots of work😂

Bravo "Marjan82" who registered on hribi.net just to post a comment. (more likely a regular contributor under another name  ) Fact is there's more and more cult stuff on our summits and unfortunately it doesn't go that everyone puts their relic up there. Hundred times chewed debate.

Basic problem is thus too much "furniture" on summits. Absolutely agree, less is more. That's why I prefer unmarked ones. Less furniture...and less people 
But wondering...when is furniture enough or still ok, when too much? Why cross and "railing spikes" on Storžič ok, Tibetan flags not? New crosses lately grow like mushrooms after rain. Also other furniture types...e.g crown on Jalovec and that little Mary on Kočni. And much more. Also stickers. Besides Croatian clubs our agencies very "active" here...
In short, from my view "furniture" problem much wider than flags... Of course don't expect all agree with me - some will zealously defend "their furniture"
And enough for already heated day

Jakob Aljaž already knew why he didn't put a cross on Triglav but a tower. Crosses belong in churches and chapels, not on mountain tops. And stickers, flags and other junk neither.
