Today it's mostly dry, only below the path's arrival at the ridge and on the ridge a few meters among bushes there's still a bit of fast-melting snow, which can be bypassed on otherwise slippery and muddy grasses with bush help.
Clear - north side still nicely covered in snow.
Views today beautiful.

Today my wife and I visited Viševnik, somewhat unplanned (original idea bit different). As we were bit out of practice, didn't want overdo (if not 100%, better safe option)...
Nice hike, weather gorgeous, almost too hot (thanks mom nature for wind), views gorgeous too, just crowd like in hypermarkets...

The day before yesterday due to not great weather forecast we drove to Pokljuka. Climbed to Viševnik, where already quite foggy and path very muddy in morning. From Rudno polje then walked to planina Konjščica and Uskovnica, extending trip a bit.

Hi
In the morning before work we headed to Viševnik. Wonderful clear night, light breeze and great sunrise. We started around 5:25, so I hurried ahead a bit to catch it just below Viševnik summit. Wonderful view, no visitors (yet), only on return they were pulling a group of kids (7-9 yrs) up (my opinion too late)
Now off to cold work

pikec1, beautiful pics, especially I like the fifth one. Yes, the marmot could really have some pity on you and give you chocolate, as you'd eat it with pleasure  The last photo is super too. Otherwise Viševnik is one of my favorite mountains and worth a visit anytime. Greetings and safe steps.

Pikec1 beat me to the post. I also wanted to experience the sunrise on Viševnik and I was at the top at 6.50. The sunrise was really wonderful. Too bad we didn't meet, pikec1!

True, from Viševnik a great view of Triglav, it seems to you as if you had it on the palm of your hand, I was there in winter, now already three months nowhere because I injured my leg, I can hardly wait to climb up there again, meanwhile I just look at these pics, really nice @Pikec1

I too today as part of the mountaineering circle took kids to Viševnik. When we started it was still clear. Then it got foggy.
People a huge amount. On such a pensioners' two-thousander it's not worth going.
