This afternoon I checked conditions on Viševnik. Snow very lightly crusted. With skis no problem to the top. During the day hikers also reached the top who only need some stubbornness and good will instead of winter gear with occasional sinking. Today fog prevailed. Lp

Franci, any avalanches on Viševnik. As I know the path from Pokljuka is quite safe regarding avalanches!? I would also be a hiker l.p.

Just a day or two of sun and Viševnik is „again traversable“ also for hikers. Ravens also rejoiced as there were crumbs from almost every backpack for their hungry tummies. In short nice sunny day on top below at ski slope foggy and quite cold.

Yes, today Viševnik had lots of visitors. Path for hikers and skiers done. Spikes on shoes recommended. Good luck all hikers and skiers.

Today I was again on Viševnik. I argued with myself because I am both skier and hiker . Compared to yesterday it was HOT, but therefore more crusty and easier skiing.

Towards evening again to Viševnik. Just below the summit I came out of the fog, where the sun was already departing. Wanted to take some night shots, but due to cold didn't wait more than moonrise. With headlamp I skied to the valley. Already tracked by hikers, but from cable car to saddle quite crusty for them. Further to summit better. Lp

The road is passable as usual. I can't help you with the conditions on Viševnik. Probably sinking in.
