In mid-August I was up there; the stamp was still there. Tied with an ornk chain, everything rattled when I moved that stamp. Now I'm reading that it's gone. I don't get how someone could rip it off eek

On Saturday I did the tour from Koča na planini Razor (closed at 8:30 a.m.) via Vogel and on to Rodica and back. Wonderful autumn day with unique views.
At the top of Vogel I also searched in vain for the stamp. On return, Koča na planini Razor was luckily open (probably not anymore next weekend) and there I got the hut stamp and also Vogel's.
I know that collecting stamps isn't the point of hiking in the hills, but for everyone who wants to complete SPP, the stamp is proof of the completed tour.

If I'm not mistaken, Koča Merjasec on Vogel also has the Vogel stamp. Last year I stopped there and it seems there was a stamp for Vogel besides the Merjasec hut one. Worth asking if you're going to the top from that end.
Regards.

Don't rely too much on the hut opening data on PZS. Just today I browsed and checked some hut websites, the data differs - e.g. on the hut's website it says closed, on PZS list it says open.

... question to that, on the PZS website there used to be phone numbers of the keepers, so I myself called several times regarding some hut.
What now, since they are no longer on that page, are they perhaps listed elsewhere now??

@jprim, the phone numbers are still listed as they were...you click on the hut and get them, at least that's how I see it...

Thanks for the reply, I checked, before the numbers were on the other side, right by the list, or maybe I'm mistaken.zavijanje z očmi

On Saturday I started at the beginning of SPP and went along the path Mariborska koča - Ruška koča - Šumik - Klopni vrh - Pesek - Lovrenška jezera - Ribniška koča - Kope - Kremžarjev vrh (overnight)jezik. On Sunday followed descent to Slovenj Gradec and continuation Poštarski dom pod Plešivcem - Uršlja gora - Sleme - Smrekovec, where I realize that only from Sunday to Monday you can't stay overnightmrk pogled. Although I planned to go to Raduha as well, I decided to finish here since the next hut on Travnik is also not open from Sunday to Monday, and to the hut on Loki it was too far as I'd be walking in the dark.
Guess I'll have to take a makeup examvelik nasmeh.

Bos, you had bad luck that you couldn't stay overnight on Smrekovec. The caretakers have such a schedule that suits them and not the hikers. Imagine not being able to stay overnight on Kredarica from Sunday to Monday - against all logic. On the other hand, you were lucky that it's like that on Smrekovec; it's one of the most expensive stops in Slovenia. Even in the high mountains you rarely come across such prices as in this hut, although everything can be easily brought by car.

Hello. Today my partner and I were at the Alpine Museum in Mojstrana and received treatment like no other. On the way back from the hike we stopped by the mentioned museum to get the SPP stamp. The lady at the counter told us that the condition for the stamp is paying the museum entrance fee, i.e. 2 x 6 EUR = 12 EUR. Apparently there's a signed agreement with PZS. When I asked for the mentioned document, I got something completely different, a document issued by the museum itself, no signature anywhere, nor PZS mentioned. Of course we didn't agree with that, we didn't pay the entrance. I asked if we could at least take a free photo in front of the museum (since a photo also counts according to the rules). That was granted to us.

Anyway, I noted down the lady's name and surname and tomorrow I'll check this with PZS, as it seems extremely unusual to me that you have to pay something to get a stamp. Where is the spirit of mountaineering here? Not even one hut caretaker has told me I have to drink or eat something for the stamp, nor in Škocjan Caves did they condition it with a tour (though we did the tour anyway) etc...

I'm interested in your view on this. My opinion is that it's unacceptable for someone to rip you off even for an SPP stamp. If this is confirmed by PZS too, today is our last day collecting stamps, as we don't want to participate in the capitalist rip-off Slovenian mountain trail. Regards

Becar hello!
I very much doubt that anyone responsible from PZS will give you a concrete and of course public answer here... Yes, there have been such demands (not suggestions!) from some elements in PZS... But the SPP stamp must be available to every hiker on SPP - and free of charge! The demand from the museum in Mojstrana that you mention is illegitimate and worthy of all condemnation. The SPP stamp should also be outside, accessible to everyone at any time (like at the entrance to the info center of Škocjan Caves)! It would be interesting to know who signed the "document" of the museum that stipulates payment of entrance fee for the service of getting the SPP stamp. If you remember who it is, just write it!

What's this now, some new variant of SPP that has a stamp in the museum?

Unmasking the lady at the counter is really no problem since there are only a few employees and they're listed on their website. Probably she really wasn't acting on her own but was "instructed" to do so.

Nevertheless, I find it funny that some people have such problems in life or just create them with the wrong approach to others. As you approach, so people react. Becar will react to this post of mine the same way... If someone actually demands documents and rules from people at every step, counter, parking lot or road barrier, when does he even have time to live???

Zippo, I won't react to your post as you imagined, because maybe you're one of the cashiers or their friends and you won't let anything be explained to you anyway. I'll rather ask you about that part on the "wrong approach" to others... What's wrong if you approach and say: "Good day. I'd like to ask where I can get the SPP stamp here."

The other side replies: "You can get the stamp only upon paying the museum entrance fee."

Maybe you haven't grasped or don't want to grasp the essence, which is not the person's approach, but paying for the SPP stamp.

As long as Slovenes have this general mindset that you're annoying if you don't let yourself be ripped off at every step, we'll be in a societal crisis for that long. The nation has been silent for too long, that's why it is as it is.
