Viševnik 7.7.- circular route - not much change. I went via Kačji rob and Srenjski preval. There's still a lot of snow in the valley, it'll be there for a while. The gentians are fresh on this side, past Plesišče they're already scorched by the sun. Views from the top wonderful, just strong gusty wind was blowing and chasing us off Viševnik. At my arrival there were only two visitors. Didn't meet many either. But we watched a chamois from below up. Since I was only looking at my feet I didn't notice it by the rock, right by the path to Viševnik, it happens. It was nice, nice. May it be nice for you too, when visiting the mountain or looking at the pics.

Majda, you wrote it very nicely. Looking at your pics I relived yesterday. The difference is just that the chamois was yesterday on Mali Draški vrh.

Still in the dark and minus starting for sunrise. The path today to Viševnik II station bp, then further on some parts to plesišče muddy and slippery, from there snow appears, which was already trodden, of course since I was early it was frozen too. Otherwise cloudy and windy as forecast, well sun was there too, ... .
At the top I catch up with someone who quickly went down, said he won't wait ... for the sun.
So alone, waited and got it, ...
On return met quite a few hikers, at the end by the car gave a parking ticket to a young couple with dog, simply awesome

Given that there's a traffic ban from the barracks at Rudno polje towards the Viševnik trailhead, it's right that violators get a ticket from the warden. Unfortunately, yesterday I saw quite a bit of traffic and parked cars on that section, but no warden tickets.

It's not about being mean. It's about the whole thing not being properly regulated. For example, I parked at the parking lot by the barracks and paid the fee. Many others drove to the trailhead where traffic is prohibited.
And now I'm the fool, and someone else is smart. For you @rekar I'm even mean.
I think, given all the cars around Pokljuka, it's right to regulate things.
