Primož, you're one of a kind. You don't react angrily to any insult or nonsense. Cool as a spritzer and witty at the same time. You understand all kinds of comments. Bravo! We don't reach your knees. nasmeh

Article from January 2021: Julian Alps and Karawanks currently covered by thickest January snow cover since 2001, Upper Sava Valley hasn't had this much snow this month in 43 years.

Pokljuka, 22.03.2021

Today we headed to Ablanca through Gamsova grapa. Wind forecast up to 100km/h and my partner weighs a rich 50kg, could be interesting. So we parked before the barracks on Pokljuka (no one there) and headed on the path. Snow on Pokljuka is HUGE, by the road where they plowed easily at least 1.5m, nice to see no sinking on the footpath to... VDV say. Wind not bothering. So we quickly reached the fork for Konjščica and continued.

When we reached the height of the entry to Gamsova to Ablanca we started sinking and it sank deeply in places, concrete elsewhere. So we trampled a bit higher toward the gully and started wondering if this would quickly become a problem due to the snow and wind conditions and if we really needed to climb it today? Then the wind blew my glove toward Konjščica and the decision was a bit easier.

We started descending toward Konjščica and after 15 minutes even found the lost glove. Since we were already in full gear we still looked toward the west side of Viševnik. By the west gully a smaller or narrower gully is clearly visible. After the initial jump the ascent is really enjoyable, slope not extreme. In places it was juicy, here and there it turned a bit to powder, but still a very enjoyable tour with a nice exit. On the summit on the west side of Viševnik there are strange cracks where special care is needed. And of course if you have lighter people on the tour grab them by the climbing harness on the ridge so they don't end up at the bottom too quickly. Viševnik seems too innocent "little one" to many. Current conditions at the top are very demanding. Carefully and in full gear if you are going. Good luck.

@primoza, it seems to me that PMS holds at you 14 days before the moon and 14 after.
Lockdown is supported only by morons like you.
Describe conditions and period. The rest stay home yourselves.

best regards and safe step

Primož, you really are beyond help. Self-loving ego did its thing. Numbers that the media give us daily are misleading and lies. I know firsthand, because my friend works at the infectious clinic. She works as an administrator, but anyway, in short, for every patient, whether positive or not, they write that it's corona!!!

Well, it's high time the administrator did his job here. If someone stirs up bad mood, indignation, hatred with his posts... blocking the user is the logical step.

Well, as far as I remember, there's only one user on the forum who accused others of being murderers. Here we're one step ahead. Yes, debates can be sharp and some not fully appropriate word can fall. But with such accusations we enter criminal territory.

@primoza that's right, topic is Viševnik, so stick to the point. So conditions, path description, experience. Everything else belongs in another thread on the forum or village gossip.
I rarely speak up on the forum, but gladly read forumers' posts.

@primoza that's right, topic is Viševnik, so stick to the point. Read one page back, when in first sentence he wrote or expressed support for country lockdown, then called us couchers, only then wrote about conditions. As I said, ego does its thing.
