Real marking should be a bit more than Triglav here. That is around 6-7 hours. In one day totally doable, depends where you live; if drive is long need to start early, no problem for me, I'm used to it.

zasavčan,, just over 7h in total, with two long breaks, if interested--not important on such a tour,, the way back was a bit rushed to get home ASAP,, since I get up at 3am for work

Today on Grossglockner it was a day for the gods - great conditions for ascent, great weather, great ski descent and even better company.

From Kals direction we started at dawn. Snow was frozen and track nicely laid. At glacier edge we got to the sun and progressed well to upper part, where after traverse we exited over edge where Little Glockner shows up. After short break then to summit. Skis left below saddle. Since some parties ahead, ascent prolonged a bit. By the way witnessed filming of movie about first ascenders. When we reached top, it was Slovenian, as we were alone.

Then descent to skis and ski to valley. About this no words wasted, cause it was by far best in whole this season.big grinbig grin

Glocknerhaus - Lucknerhütte - Mürztalersteig - summit and back. Very good snow conditions both up and back down.

New snow from somewhere above 3000m. Settled.

Stüdlhütte operating normally. Adlerco looks like renovating something, check.

ps: Ask Knop, was over Stüdlgrat 25.06.
