Südliche Chalausspitze is 3096 meter high peak in the Silvretta Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Austria and the country of Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Jamtalhütte, located 3km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Ehemalige Zollwachhütte. South from the summit there is glacier Vadret da Chalaus, 1.3 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Vadret d'Urezzas. The peak is located above the valley Jamtal.
