Hintere Jamspitze is 3153 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Silvretta Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Austria and the country of Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Wiesbadener Hütte, located 4km northwest. A bit closer is bivouac Ehemalige Zollwachhütte, which is located 2km to the west. 1.9 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Vadret d'Urezzas, 3 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Vadret da Chalaus.
