Rußkopf is 2693 meter high peak with a cross and a summit register in the Silvretta Alps. The peak is located 11 km south from the center of Galtür and 14 km southeast of Partenen. The nearest mountain hut is Jamtalhütte, located 2km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Ehemalige Zollwachhütte. 1.8 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Vadret d'Urezzas, 1.8 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Vadret da Chalaus.
