Signalspitze is 3156 meter high peak and is part of the Silvretta Alps. The peak is located 11 km south from the center of Galtür and 14 km south-southwest of Mathon near the border with Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Jamtalhütte, located 3km north-northwest. A little further is bivouac Ehemalige Zollwachhütte. 0.5 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Oberer Augstenferner, 1.0 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Futschölferner.
