Description:
Obere Ochsenscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2955 meters in the Silvretta Alps. The saddle is located 0.5 km north of peak Dreiländerspitze near the border with Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Wiesbadener Hütte, located 3km northwest. Closer is bivouac Ehemalige Zollwachhütte, which is located 1.5km to the west-southwest. 3 km east from the saddle there is glacier Vadret d'Urezzas, 3 km east from the saddle there is also glacier Vadret da Chalaus. The saddle is located above the valley Ochsental.
