Hohe Wand is 2968 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Teplitzerhütte - Rifugio Vedretta Pendente, located 1.6km south-southeast. And Aglsbach (Sennerbodenalm) is also close by. 0.6 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Hangender Ferner - Vedretta Pendente, 3 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Simmingferner. The peak is located south of the valley Unterbergtal.
