Freiger Scharte

Description:
Freiger Scharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2991 meters and is part of the Stubai Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Becherhaus - Rifugio Gino Biasi al Bicchiere, located 1.0km west-southwest. A little further is Aglsbach (Sennerbodenalm). 1.6 km east from the saddle there is glacier Hangender Ferner - Vedretta Pendente, 3 km west-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Fernerstube. The saddle is located east-northeast of the valley Windachtal.
