Pfaffennieder is a saddle at an altitude of 3136 meters and is part of the Stubai Alps. The saddle is located 0.9 km east-southeast of peak Wilder Pfaff - Cima del Prete near the border with Italy. The nearest mountain hut is Müllerhütte - Rifugio Cima Libera, located 0.2km east-southeast. A little further is Winterraum. 1.6 km north-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Fernerstube, 1.7 km west-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Triebenkarlasferner. West-southwest of the saddle is the valley Windachtal.
