Description:
Sonklarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3298 meters and is part of the Stubai Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Müllerhütte - Rifugio Cima Libera, located 1.1km east-northeast. A little further is Winterraum. 0.7 km southwest from the saddle there is glacier Triebenkarlasferner, 2.0 km north from the saddle there is also glacier Fernerstube. West-southwest of the saddle is the valley Windachtal.
