Großes Horn is 2878 meter high peak in the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 2 km east-northeast of peak Hoher First - Monte Principe. The nearest mountain hut is Zwickauer Hütte - Rifugio Plan, located 5km southwest. Closer is bivouac Rauhjoch Biwak, which is located 1.5km to the southwest. 2 km west from the summit there is glacier Westlicher Seeber Ferner, 3 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Gaisbergferner. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Timmelstal.
