Großer Rotstein

Description:
Großer Rotstein is 3147 meter high peak and is part of the Rieserferner Group. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Jausenstation Jagdhausalm, located 3km north-northeast. A little further is Bacheralm. 2 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Sankt-Josef-See. 0.6 km north from the summit there is glacier Fleischbachkees, 4 km south from the summit there is also glacier Lenksteinferner - Vedretta di Sasso Lungo. The peak is located south of the valley Affental.
