Bärenluegscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2848 meters in the Rieserferner Group. The saddle is located 0.3 km southeast of peak Saßenegg. The nearest mountain hut is Kasseler Hütte, located 4km south-southwest. Closer is Bacheralm, which is located 3km to the southwest. 4 km east-southeast of the saddle there is lake Sankt-Josef-See. 1.8 km east-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Fleischbachkees, 5 km south-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Lenksteinferner - Vedretta di Sasso Lungo. The saddle is located above the valley Knuttental.
