Wasserköpfe is 2582 meter high peak and is part of the Rieserferner Group. The peak is located 1.1 km southeast of peak Graunock. The nearest mountain hut is Jausenstation Jagdhausalm, located 2.0km northeast. A little further is Furtalm. 3 km southeast of the peak there is lake Sankt-Josef-See. 0.9 km south from the summit there is glacier Fleischbachkees, 5 km south from the summit there is also glacier Lenksteinferner - Vedretta di Sasso Lungo.
