mukica, don't know. We arrived up around 12.45, didn't meet anyone returning.

And forgot this. Still no new logbook at the top.

Start in Trenta, first on asphalt to Zadnjica turnoff then on gravel to junction for Čez Dol saddle and to top, where fog ensured same views all around jezik

Day before, two hill friends collecting 2000ers mentioned another peak and of course went to see what Veliki Konj offers nasmeh

. Seems some visits, someone forgot pate and fruit bar earlier, pick up trash on top and take some shots, weather improved a bit. Descend to valley via Trebiški dol to car and loop around Zadnjiški Glacier done.

Bavški Grintavec, Srebrnjak, Trentski Pelc, Plešivec

It's indeed a hikers' counter. One of the TNP employees explained it to us last year. They've put up several, of different shapes, on more frequented paths.

One is from Jezerca towards Planina Konjščica. Passed by it today. Last year it was already at the mentioned location, but not like today.

10.9.2019 In the morning we headed to Zadnjiški Glacier from Zadnjica over Sedlo Dol. Down at the parking lot quite a few cars. We met almost no one. Only a black snake basking by the path to the glacier and which quickly hid in its home. Great views from the top. Triglav looked somewhat white. And lumpy clouds were gathering. Wasn't cold on the path, only at the top when the sun hid and the wind blew. Descended the same way.

There was quite a lot of water those days in the streambeds that are usually dry.

it's getting warmer on the path to the saddle.

With tufted clouds over Bavškim Grintavcem.

Blue-white combination in the sky, little heart sleeps.

This cat often slept on my car (photo about 10 years old, maybe more). Zadnjica is really "the best", not just for lady and gentleman hikers, but also for cats mežikanje

Zadnjiški Glacier, snow started around 1200m, to the pasture and further over Dol. Occasionally collapsing. Up there first followed predecessors, then my own way direct to the ridge. Also there collapsing 5-10-20 cm. Along the ridge to the top. Nice up there, views, silence, met no one. Descended below the ridge and down the gully to the pasture. Where you wish for gaiters, as I had flooding in my boots but no matter, main thing arrived in Trenta without a single blister.

On Monday 21.9.2020. We intended to go from Trenta village over Trebiški Dol to see the barracks under Zadnjiški Ozebnik and maybe to the summit too. But it wasn't meant to be as we imagined. Path start before TNP, where the TNP supervisor told us where the fallen trees are. Little path that goes into the forest and thus avoids weekends and those turns and macadam road. Marjan had this time drawn the path that once was from planina Trebiščina. That's where we were supposed to return. But at the junction, which is at least visible, it tempted me to go there first and from there try to reach the barracks. But it didn't work out. The planina is abandoned. We searched in high grasses for at least some path trace but unsuccessfully, because there is none. Returned and went along the visible path that goes around the hill. Probably towards the summit and branches off down somewhere. We walked for some time until this path also ran out. In between we stumbled upon a dry torrent bed. Decided to return to the lower path and go at least to the hunter's hut in Trebiški dol. But the sky was getting more and more gray and cloudy. About 100 m ahead of the hunter-pastoral hut we found a little path, more a trail, and continued steeply. Now we were on the right path to the barracks. But we had already lost quite some time searching for the path on the planina. To top it off, it started drizzling. Decided to turn back about 200 m from the goal. There will be another opportunity. Now we know the path and in such gray weather no sense to continue. Descended the same path to Trenta village. It drizzled all the way. Still an interesting trip searching for paths that no longer exist.

and the view towards Lepi Špič was not promising at all.

End of the tour, which wasn't really short.. Getting to know new paths. Next time everything will be easier.

8.10.2020. When the weather forecast on Thursday was favorable, we decided to go again past Trebiški Dol off-path to the remains of buildings from 1930, built during the Rapallo border time. We skipped Planina Trebiščina this time. To the buildings under Velika Glava it's off-path. We spent some time looking at what remained from then. Sadly decaying. We spotted three paths there. One probably led under Konj and to Zadnjiški Ozebnik. Second to planina Trebiščina. The path we took more to the left under walls and screes. It meets the path from Zadnjiški Dol on the ridge almost under the summit. The path from barracks to summit is quite long. In places completely lost. Especially in the last part. So almost need GPS connection so not to stray. No one on the summit. Yesterday clear views. Descended to Zadnjiški Dol and from there path over Trebišina to Trenta village. Because waters rose we had quite some troubles crossing water. Otherwise really beautiful tour, in autumn day. Walked 18 km and did 16.5 m of elevation gain.
