On Saturday, thanks to our guide, we were on Zadnjiški Ozebnik, most of us for the first time, there were nine of us. We went from Zadnjica valley towards Prehodavci, then right on an unmarked but well-traceable path, lots of cairns. The path is varied, there were still some forest strawberries, blueberries, mainly beautiful bunches of edelweiss... Views magnificent, from Jalovec, Mangart, Prisojnik, Škrlatica, Triglav, Lepošpičje to Čisti vrh and Velika Tičarica, which we visited recently. We enjoyed the summit ourselves and imagined what crowds there are on some peaks. It was worth the effort of 1400 m elevation gain. It was one of the hottest days, but on the ascent we were early enough and it didn't burn yet. When returning, it got hotter and hotter. Grateful to the guide for the excellent choice, all of us, especially Ana, who had waited many years for Zadnjiški Ozebnik.... it was nice.

Yes, of course there are avriklji. Water flowing over rocks diligently wets them above the path.

Yesterday at this viewpoint, completely alone. A bit surprised there weren't more visitors. Path from sedlo Dol well traceable, scree almost freshly trimmed. Thanks and praise to diligent hands.

Yesterday at this beautiful viewpoint with a mini extension to Veliki Konj. Trenta-Zadnjica-Zadnjiški dol (along mulatjera)-Čez dol-Vrh-Veliki Konj-Čez dol-Trebiški dol-Trenta-swimming in Soča Original plan, return over Veliki Konj and past military remains in Trebiški dol postponed to cooler, autumn days due to abnormal number of ticks on the path. On the way to the saddle, wondering why the marked path isn't routed along the abandoned mulatjera, which is so pleasant and easy to follow. At the saddle a real botanical paradise. One of the rare paths that I will remember also by its scent. Pasque flowers peeking towards the sun and butterflies pollinating everywhere. This is definitely one of the nicest paths I've hiked. Obviously, the blooming time in June only adds to the beauty. Fragrant wolfsbane present the whole way to the top. This pleasant scent literally imprinted the path into unforgettable memory. Towards the top, you don't know whether to look at the views or under your feet so as not to step on a marmot, which are plentiful everywhere. I took quite some time to enjoy the incredible views all around, even peeked a bit into Dovje over Luknja On the return via pathless terrain to Veliki Konj - which looks nicely accessible along the ridge from old military remains. Mini ridge scrambling was the icing on the cake of the tour. The initial part of the path towards Trebiški dol has the right base for tired legs. Shame it's not like that all the way to the end We finished the tour with swimming in the Soča, which anchored the already beautiful tour even more firmly in memory. With a comfortable pace and breaks it came to 9h, 1600 elevation gain and 22 km. LP, Ben

Hello, this peak has been tempting me for some time and I wonder how best to do a circular tour? Which path up and which down? I'm planning for the summer season, of course, so no need to worry. Thanks!

I suggest parking before the barrier on the gravel road to Trebiški dol. There is space for a few vehicles and I think it's still free. Then through Trebiški dol to Zadnjiški, I recommend the nearby Veliki Konj. Descent to Zadnjica to the parking lot, then shortcut past the limekiln (even without the shortcut it's not too far) to Na Logu village, where you treat your soul in the pub next to the TNP museum, you can also eat something. The driver or driver jumps for the car, max quarter hour. P.S. first time On descent I recommend detour to Belopotoški waterfall (Pinja), under which there is a nice pool in which you can swim pleasantly P.S. second time the trip is also suitable for dog souls, mine enjoyed Up through Trebiški, down to Zadnjica. https://photos.app.goo.gl/T5TFPkiAaSsv36VR7

We usually leave the vehicle at Na Log in front of the TNP building. There's a small path to the right to avoid the gravel road that goes from the barrier onwards. It shortens it a bit. A TNP ranger told us about this path years ago when we chatted in the morning and he asked where we were going.

Thank you very much for such a quick and detailed response! I hope that this tour will come true for us someday, of course with our dog companions and appropriate fitness. Refreshment in the water is of course welcome in summer. I no longer count on being alone on some "remote unknown" summit, it has happened to us several times that we met foreign hikers on such paths and summits, Germans for example really discover everything.
