Also nice on Viševnik today. Some small Sunday snow only in the upper third of the path, where winter gear is needed. Views, especially the closest ones, magically beautiful.

On Saturday I plan with a small group to do a circular tour Rudno polje-Viševnik-Srenjski preval-Jezerca-Rudno polje, so I'm interested in current conditions, if anyone has hiked around there in the last days, thanks for info, oi oi

Tuesday 20.01.15 my friend and I walked there and I recommend you reverse the tour direction. Srenjski preval-Viševnik not much walked, mandatory 12-point crampons. If interested, I have pictures too. LP

Basically snow holds, we walked it down too. Pictures from Jezerca, from V. and M. Draški vrh towards Viševnik, on the path from Srenjski preval and from Viševnik summit. From it the path is like a road. LP

Today conditions excellent. Quite soon on the ski slope an icy base appears, covered with thin layer of powder. When crampons are put on, every worry unnecessary velik nasmeh On top though windy, had to anchor well nasmeh Overall super conditions velik nasmeh

Today from Rudno polje at -8 to Viševnik, at ski slope already quite pleasant temperature we were warmed up zavijanje z očmi , to Plesišče no issues then gradually it started blowing and light snow started falling. We met five ski tourers, already on descent when they were heading up. It was super, ... velik nasmeh

It snowed last Sunday, so with Metod we went up today too. Super, except wind, and had to go to Bled to Šmon for cakes too.

Me too today, like my (literally) fore-walkers mežikanje Tinky and Todi, on Viševnik. I'd add path is well trodden with very rare postholing. Though could go without crampons, recommend them. On ridge little before summit quite "long" icy slab. With wind had bit more luck than T.& T. before, because on top almost no windzavijanje z očminasmeh

If not necessary (steep, icy), crampons hinder more than ease mountaineering step...
