Before Gorenjska rednecks type „Deliverance“ Prešeren had to flee to Ljubljana, his brother to Žabnice near Trbiž.
Nowadays from Gorenjska only some redneck strays to LJ, showing authentic Gorenjska culture.

Of course, you're right! The rest "normal" Gorenjci (so I don't use some foreign quasi comparisons) prefer to stay in Gorenjska, because we lost nothing in LJ.

That's definitely not nice, pouring such anger on the regular visitors of Smarnagora. There are a lot of recreational folks here who care about their image. The modern mountain will even get a bad reputation because of you. But it's true that if you're FIT and IN, you have to show up on Šmarka at least sometimes to be in the loop!

Smarnagora is fine after work... if I'm in the office. If I'm in the field, then Slovenia offers hundreds of better options
The large number of paths and "paths" is a result of the high traffic. On every popular hill it's like that, when many feel called to make some first ascents...

And in analogy to your post, welcome everyone in Ljubljana when you'll be causing traffic jams on Ljubljana roads especially from Monday to Friday.
P.S. Good thing the rest of Slovenia remains cultured, well-groomed, tidy, well-raised, because where would we be if everyone behaved like impossible Ljubljaners, right?
