Used to go to Smarna Gora 100 times a year, now other goals, only once a year....Today was the right day, gloomy and slippery in the morning, but still nice. First time from Medno, along the bridge from 1933, recently nicely renovated. Also first time on Westrova path, yes also on Grmada there are daffodils, they smelled nice. Chat with Joži at the top and our group. Yes, Smarna Gora has its charm...

No one commented on the markers for the 60th anniversary of SPD on Mazijeva path to Grmada on this forum this year. I clicked Planinski vestnik May 1954 and found an interesting note by Josip Westra. Grmada probably hasn't changed much in 70 years, but the valley has, as can be seen from the picture taken from Grmada around 1940. An even older picture is composed of 2 Pernhart pictures, exhibited in NG and published online.
