Today via the Path through the sands; at the start in the morning it was still frozen, so it went fine - later it warmed up and there was mud. Further on the path was icy in places, crampons needed especially on descent. Weather cloudy with some fog, plenty of ŠG visitors.

Gaja got sick at the end of May last year, and after three weeks of intensive treatment there was no help for her. She refused all food and lost the sparkle in her eyes. Eight years she brightened our days day by day and it was never too much for her, even in the middle of the night in any weather, every weekend and sometimes in between, to go hiking in hills and mountains. Pika is 7 months old. By character more playful than Gaja, and already happily jumps in the car to go on now even more walks. Especially now in the snow it's all pure joy.
