On Saturday by Giti's idea connection Šmarna Gora and Rašica. Weather ideal, cold, sunny, scenic, it would be a pity to walk this path in fog. Start in Šmartno, on freedom path. We barely start, we spot this portal's star Tinky who is already returning. After many years of ascents to Šmarna Gora, higher and closer mountains have pushed it out. But it is really nice to be back on Šmarna Gora, this time for the first time on freedom path, sign shows 45 minutes. Path is nicely laid out, extremely nice section above Tacen, view towards Medno and Polhograjci, section of path as if in high mountains, two new fixed ropes for assistance. Ascent to Grmada, nice views. Then again descent to freedom path, on the north side view to KSA. Šmarna Gora always has many visitors, but on this path no crowds, relaxed in nature and views. Then ascent to the summit past the playground, then descent past Turk's sign. A sign for Povodje was a bit missing, but by feel it went fine. Beautiful little forest, I didn't imagine at all what this connection towards Rašica is like. Over the highway, then immediately left towards the fish farm (also a bit of dilemma, but then visible marking). On marked path to Rašica summit, but also possible along the ridge. Down then via forest path to Gameljne, well marked. Also the path to Šmartno via meadow path passed pleasantly. Another story for the grandkids, 23 km...It was wonderful.
