The road to Blato is open and passable. Yesterday they were still repairing the verges, today it was all fine.

I'm interested in how parking is at Planina Blato. Is it paid, or is it possible to park for free nearby for 3 days in June? I'm planning a 3-day loop tour.

Let's say there are four of us. I go cycling, the three others to Škednjovec. Since we act ecologically responsibly, we head out with one car. They want to start the hike at Blato, we agree that I drive them up, return to the valley and park under Kobla, where it's free all day. They in the mountains, me on the bike, when they start descending they call me when to come pick them up. Up to here all fine and right.
If road use is 15€ per day, does that mean I can drive up and down as many times as I want that day to drop off/pick up those going up for a tour and back? Or do I have to pay 15€ for every up/down, even if I do it in the same day? Why is there no one-hour road use for say two or three euros, just to drop off or pick up someone, that surely takes no more than an hour.
I have the feeling that for Blato it's like this, that every time the barrier lifts for you and you enter, you pay 15€  I mean, the barrier lifts and you go in on the road to Blato

I think the point is precisely to prevent too much traffic and too much "up and down" driving with cars, so one entry is 15 euros.

Every time you go through the barrier, you'll pay 15 euros, regardless of whether you're inside half an hour or the whole day.

Get used to it, a Bohinj visit is an expensive rip-off. You pay for a one-time experience, regardless of whether you'd like the barrier up and down multiple times ... barrier of course

For Blato there is toll and parking fee, in any case the user pays what's LEAST favorable for him. So, up to one day toll, pay every time the barrier lifts. If midnight strikes in between it turns to parking, pay per day.

mrobar, if planning start at pl. Blato, I recommend parking at P Senožeta (Srednja vas), where there is a few euros parking per day, but for Bohinj still cheap. To Blato by free bus, first starts at 6am (usually).
We planned a circular tour by leaving the car for several days at P Kobla (it was free then, now 2 eur/day) and taking free buses to Savica (we changed at the lake), then over Komarča, lakes, slept at Prehodavci. Back we came to pl. Blato, took the bus to the lake and changed again to Kobla. Circle closed
