It would be better if you didn't mention this act. I'm sorry it ended so miserably.

Black raven Gloomy morning, a new day awakens. Snowing. Everything sleeps - even the hunter. Only the mountain with rocky ledge - watches. But how can it sleep, when black beauty on the pasture dances on the crown, when the dark walker pecks and crumbles, cracks and grinds it. Hot blood drives him, he would like to love, shakes head in his song, even spreads curls, safety is no concern to him. Where are you, who thinks you are prettier? Hurry up, then I will love - no singing, no dancing, just love.

Rok86: From your comments, one can conclude that you are not an expert and don't distinguish whether the animal is sick or not (no misunderstanding; me neither). Under no condition did you have any right to finish off that beautiful bird. For such an act, sanctions should follow.

hehe give Rok full right, it won't chase us anymore hehe... a bit of black humor yeah he didn't want to kill it but this bird is damn good at flying in and it's not nice when it charges at you. He just defended himself and hit it unlucky... it could easily happen to some guy... otherwise post better comments and facts about Ojstrica, don't play parliament

Me too, carried away from the title topic ... I apologize in advance, but the topic that developed is much more important than the title one! Mosovnik expressed the need for sanctions. I agree! But I also know that they won't happen ... at least not the ones he had in mind. But we can provide different ones ourselves - here on the forum. Namely, forum users who committed something concrete or just something virtual that is morally unacceptable to us (the rest), we simply ignore. And one more thing, since I'm digressing from the title topic ... I'm really curious what a person who beats a bird to death with a stick in mortal fear (unintentionally) would do (or has done) if one of the "deadly dangerous" reptiles appeared under his feet in summer. I'm almost sure that the photo of that careless animal wouldn't be suitable for normal stomachs! I wish us patient coexistence in all areas, especially in the natural environment!

Zoran, what's wrong with you: "Please Rok86 - don't go to the mountains so there won't be more damage - it's obviously not for you." in the hills you have to fear fools who climb Triglav and other peaks and shake like a reed when grabbing the steel cables........ anyway one fat hen less

Accusations are flying! No matter how we discuss and philosophize, the ptarmigan won't return to its beautiful home under Ojstrica! Let this be a lesson and warning to all nature visitors. I won't judge "rok86", he just reacted as he did (I think he's a young highlander) and unfortunately it ended that way. We are disturbing beings who unfortunately disturb the animals' living space in their environment, so in such and similar situations let's react patiently so that no such end occurs! Lp

Purely realistic: when walking, the stick is pointed towards the ground and held in the palm. To hit something, you have to turn the stick upwards. And Rok86, congrats if you manage to do that so fast that you can't realize a poor bird attacked you.... So you had more than enough time to realistically assess that the bird couldn't threaten your life... yet you killed it anyway. Now it doesn't matter, just DON'T DO STUPID THINGS! What stupidity you did, even you couldn't figure out. If your conscience had stung you a bit, you would at least have buried it in the snow and not proudly boasted about it on the forum.

When I read this, shivers run down my spine, not only because of the culprit Rok, but also because of some irresponsible comments on this topic! The average person behaves completely barbarically towards the animal world. If a snake hisses and crawls, a ptarmigan threateningly bends its horns, chamois squeak, then subconsciously everything must be killed... RIGHT? Once I brought home a very young fawn lying on the grass because its mother had lost it (it was still bleating loudly) and it later died too when there was no proper mother's milk, but in a carefree shelter. In the mountains, people don't realize that we are just newcomers, visitors to mountain nature, most often people who interfere in a completely different wild animal world. The changing climate itself, ozone thinning - ibex disease, shrinking of living space and food, human intervention and scaring, causes animals premature, unnatural selection. Let's listen to the animals, help them and learn their thinking and behavior. Animals behave far ahead of us, feel reality and the nature of creation much better than us and live and behave according to the principles of natural laws of creation. Lp-Rok

rok86, how did this go after the ptarmigan attack? Fental, photographed the "trophy", posted it online, left the dead ptarmigan on the snow in the middle of nowhere and left like a winner. Was it like that, or differently?

Come on, give Rok and that rooster peace, it just happened, so many words, just for one simple question if anyone knows that bird, I'm sure he'll remember that chicken-rooster type well now, I mean rok86. LP!

It's known that animals sense much earlier than humans what's happening with the earth and weather. Ants and snakes detect earth vibrations before earthquake, horned animals predict weather development in advance. Humans could also strengthen the third sense if like ibex the whole day meditating on rock and harmonizing with natural vibrations. Hats off to J. Trogar for such sensitive deep verses.

rok86: That's a bit cruel thing you did, the bird seems to have been protecting its territory and you were the one who entered its territory.

Or will we also beat rok86 with words as he beat the poor ptarmigan with a matchstick? The guy made a mistake and I'm sure he won't repeat it. I think this event is a good lesson for all of us ahead. We can't help the ptarmigan anymore, but we can help each other with useful info and nice mountain photos. Let this portal be interesting and nice again. L.P.

The matter (story) appeared on Gore/ljudje-news under title: Where are we, where are we going, where do we deserve.. And guys and girls because one of us was attacked by (rabid) sick bird that in such act (like ordinary rooster) is capable of pecking out human eyes. If we've seen some cruel rooster fight video, we know what it's about/ could be.. Best would be if hunters-experts in this report or confirm it was unhealthy case. Those who think opposite probably haven't encountered healthy Ptarmigan in nature yet, which of course says you don't hang around there much... For this reason I suggest besides Ojstrica conditions descriptions, describe also your Ptarmigan encounters to easier compare mentioned case. (I've mentioned some of mine)

I didn't expect such reactions to all this, it seemed obvious to me that if any animal attacks you you'll defend yourself, definitely won't let it do anything to you. Sorry for the bird for sure, but I know if it happened again I'd act exactly the same!
