Vinko, the ridge was already described by Prle in his guidebook, but it was hard to get to it, and we weren't aware. Last year JTrogar already took the direct variant over the third tower, I took the already described Prle's bypass. Probably we weren't the only ones wandering up there. Many probably don't post such pathless routes.
Although on the ridge you're quite close to Okrešelj (yesterday I "overheard" the krovcem of GRS Brunarice), you're simultaneously far from civilization.
As Prle said, ridge for experts or according to @janez.novak for "live" madmen!

Hey Drago, if I'd known you're going to this ridge I'd postpone Polovnik for another time. We'll arrange a repeat of both. Hope yours isn't harder than Loška stena.

Quite a few visitors on Mrzla today. Weather was excellent, sun was nicely warming. Mountain is beautiful, secured just where it should be, holds and steps in place, really great day for me.

Yesterday morning a real autumn fairy tale awaited me in Jezersko, thermometer in the valley showed around 15 degrees Celsius. Down there it was very calm too, no noteworthy wind. I got lucky and at least this time picked the right end for the mountains, since everywhere else it looked totally "muddy"nasmeh. I was on Mrzla gora and on the way back on Ledinski vrh. Just below Jezersko saddle strong wind started, which then accompanied me most of the tour and caused me quite some trouble at least on the ascent to Mrzla gora. Gusts were so strong that on some parts I had to crawl on all fours, twice a strong gust on Savinjsko sedlo almost threw me to the ground.eek. Otherwise it was quite warm, only the mentioned wind caused trouble. Path from Jezersko to Mrzla gora completely dry. Despite tough wind conditions I safely made it back to Jezersko where a few raindrops had already fallen. Turned out greatnasmeh. Cheers!

Morning from the hut at Rinka waterfall to Okrešelj and then via Mrzli dol to Mrzla gora summit. Conditions phenomenal, views far and wide, complete peace at the top despite 6 hikers ahead of me there. Took 3 hours to the summit, Mrzla gora is fantastic! Actually need to be fully concentrated and careful on the path up and down, also no fear of depth or exposure. Definitely coming back, this is a mountain for connoisseurs.

Really great on Mrzla gora, I was there too on Saturday, first one, we probably met on descent. I already thought I wouldn't make it to Mrzla gora this year, didn't want to go up first time in bad weather, already got a bit lost on return, but weather was really incredibly nice, on way back I also hopped to Storžek, whole way from Mrzli dol in short sleeves nasmeh

If by chance you're reading, big thanks to the girls returning from Rinka for the bottle of water, it came in very handy nasmeh

Due to afternoon work yesterday, early start from parking in Matkov kot. In the forest crossing a larger avalanche (from Matkova kopa) and torn terrain under Škaf. Shower under Škaf and continuation straight up the wide gully, which at the start due to lots of snow fairly gentle, but soon steepens and snow runs out midway (a couple meters).
Cables in first jump iced over, second jump practically gone and all merged with Latvica. Upper jump indicated only by cracks in snow.
Fantastic in Latvica, all white, snow hard all the way.
On ridge only remnants of snow, which were hard and dangerous without crampons. So "cramponing" over rocks with crampons, not very pleasant (EMŠO annoying). Steep is the last gully below summit, where pitons already peek out of snow.
Ascent seemed easier to me than usual from Mrzli dol, but objectively more dangerous due to falling rocks from Hudi dan and above from Mrzla gora.

Drago, I happily viewed it (even though on the screen). Latvica is wonderful!!
That peak and ridge is quite familiar to mevelik nasmeh
This year at least once I repeat it up to the window.
Jovan, there is still something too long for me... then those who are with me wait too long for me to reach them.
