It's true, as majcen says, if you want the mountain for yourself, go to COLD MOUNTAIN... We were also alone, only at the foot we met a guy who had already descended. It was a real pleasure, no need to step aside for anyone, no one was dislodging stones.

dprapr - don't know, but we're thinking of the same... was it you? The guy told me my shoes are slipping, and that the ascent is tough. My shoes didn't slip, but the ascent really deserved respect.

Yesterday, on the descent from Matkova kopa, at the saddle above Matkova krnica, I met a group of three hikers. At the summit of Krnička gora we realized we know each other from the forum. Since we had the same goal, Mrzla gora, after chatting we continued the "path" to the top together.
Nice day, nice tour and good company!

Nice, nice, Drago. Too bad the brother wasn't there on the tour. I've seen and recognized you in the pics with 'strikan', who seems, from all indications, a very good mountaineer.

Hello.
Has anyone gone to the summit this week after Tuesday's snowfall? I'd like to go up on Sunday, but I'm afraid there might still be snow on exposed sections without fixed protection...

Today it's hard to say where there'll still be snow on Sunday!
If snow bothers you so much, you'll just turn around there and go to the summit another time.
If you're planning to go up Sunday, someone will go tomorrow or Saturday anyway, and you'll be informed about conditions in time.

Ridge: Orlovec - Kipernik - Veliki vrh - Savinjek - Matkovo okno - notch of Hudega praska - Mrzla gora.
Today again on this ridge, this time in one piece. Brother says I'm obsessed with Mrzla gora!?
Started in the morning at 5:45 in the dark at the little church at the start of Logarska dolina and climbed to the ridge with artificial light. Ridge start is quite overgrown and you have to break through branches here and there. Then nice wandering with mushroom picking. They almost tempted me to skip the tour.
Ridge gets more interesting (rocky, views) before Savinjek and even more spiced behind Matkovo okno. At the window met a group of hikers and another one on Mrzla gora. Otherwise whole eight hours alone, as long as it took me to Mrzla gora. Oh, chamois and singing birds kept company. Descended via Okrešelj to the start of Logarska dolina to the car.
Tour for the soul!
