We came from Matkov kot past the Škaf, and descended to Okrešelj.

Actually no... from Okrešelj the worst is at the top of the snowfield (Strikanova 31), because it's a bit collapsed and you have to pull yourself up to the pegs somehow. A bit higher in the small saddle there was still a bit of snow to cross carefully, since it's deep on both sides. Question is how much is even left after last week's heatwave...
From Matkov kot it's also bare from Latvica onwards...

After descent from Storžek we continued over Savinjsko sedlo past half-collapsed bivouac to Mrzla gora, which wasn't cold at all With pleasant scrambling and reaching the top we were both thrilled by Her. But a dilemma arose since today we aimed only for Storžek, were we incidentally on Storžek or on Mrzla gora .

today my friend went to Matkov škaf, she says from Matkov kot there is still quite some snow. Went without crampons and ice axe, also some less experienced ones. Without major issues. Just very careful. She says others didn't have winter gear either. But no info if the snowfield can be bypassed, since I've never been there. How it is further to Mrzla gora, someone already posted under Current conditions at Mrzla gora.
