Yesterday family to flowernasmeh surrounded Menina Pasture.
Road to pl. Biba not yet drivable, where road comes from forest still lots of snow on road.
Path almost entirely dry, only here and there need to cross small snowfield.
Here the drive ends.1
Flowers at every step.2
Black hellebore and crocuses cover the alpine pasture.3

On Saturday visited Menina Pasture and its highest peak Vivodnik. Up through Borovnica and past Jespa, back over Ovči stan and Semprimožnik. On descent sleet and rain, but still nice nasmeh

Everyone has their own corner in nature,
to grant rest to the soul.
We yesterday chose Menina,
Šavnica, to find our silence.
In grazing time of course it's lively here too,
very loud from countless cow bells.
When motorized vehicles arrive on the road too,
all morning hidden wishes quickly change.

I haven't been up there, I looked at Menina from Velika Planina. Conditions probably similar: snow above 1000 m, up to 1200 m a few cm, then snow cover thickens quickly, at 1500 m 40 - 50 cm.

@INŽ good things praise themselves, so surely the homemade bread baked in the bread oven is excellent too. Sometimes I bake something myself and know that without heart nothing is "real".nasmeh

In the morning we head from Runot towards the foggy Menina, but more precisely to Šavnice. But the wind played a bit with the fog and made wonderful colors..

On Ravni pasture there's still quite some snow which doesn't sink early. Later it softens and can be annoying. Further to Menina similar. Žiki.

I went alone from Lipa to Šavnice and on southern slopes of Menina only patches of snow approx from 1100m asl up. Since path from Črnivec along northern slopes there might be bit more snow and less sinking issues than south side. Sun melts snow fast so patches shrink, maybe Jožef's winter adds some.nasmeh
