Can you describe where from the top of Nebeška gora the path to Kum starts? Is the trail marked?

Today to Kum from Trbovlje via Čebulova dolina. Long we wondered why such a name, until on return we asked a local why such a name, we were looking for onion . After the owner of this long valley.
Weather not the best, but for fitness gotta go somewhere.
For quite a while we smelled stifling air from Lavarge cement plant, nothing pleasant, but later higher up much nicer, on the path alone ... and in silence.
By a bunch of flowers we did a botany lesson. Pics will tell, something special like every plateau and mountain path, from wild garlic that smells or stinks like garlic to wonderful scents of other flowers.
At the top lots of hikers, enough space for all. Return same path, had to watch carefully at spots not to slip.

two parallel kozolci, connected with common roof; double kozolec, tied kozolec: drive cart under toplar
Lajči says still kozolec - even two.

Another expert one - toplar is dialect word, check Dictionary of Slovene Standard Language - SSKJ.

From grammar and other tips back to topic...
Nice pics, on Sunday when I went the same path, I didn't photograph nature much. At the top the weather wasn't special, so first-timers on Kum couldn't admire the truly exceptional view. Hope you had a better view.
But still can't without one correction: cement plant is Lafarge, not Lavarge.

... seemed something wrong, v or f, if Lafarge, let it be ... but still sounds more French, and pronounced g=ž, right, let's be picky, not angry, but used to it and toughened.

a bit late but anyway.
From Nebeška gora we went down the markings, nowhere says it's for Kum, when you reach Čimerna valley we lost the marking then we went along Ključevica slope on field paths approx. towards Kum and reached the Kum marking again.
Don't know maybe marking exists too, but we lost it.

Bbrina, thanks for reply. Was at Nebeška gora and Kum last Sunday. When I descended to Čimerna, first went along road past Kovaček farm towards Kum, then followed footpath markings.
Once you have Kum right in front of nose it's easy

Yesterday afternoon we left from Mali Kum towards summit. Path well marked all the time, runs through forest and occasionally steeper. Nice view from top, cold and windy. Despite Monday mountain hut open.

Today went to snowy Kum. Lucky they let me off work. Mainly path from Lontovž to Kum about 5-10 cm snow. Early so dry and good walking. Bigger problem ground below not frozen big slip risk! Up top windy and almost hellish cold!

Yesterday with girlfriends went to Kum. Already from far summit wrapped in thick fog. In Podkum sunny and nice views, higher forest foggy dark. Path quite wet, partly muddy thick leaves so carefully follow markings. Had fun, hut friendly keepers good food. Wonder if path from Podkum or Mali Kum less visited, met no one up/down though many hikers in hut?

Today on Kum foggy windy also a bit rainy. Snow melted quite well, so had some work to the top. From Hrastnik. Path nicely marked, no hikers met. First at hut, weather not nice. But worth it anyway. Keeper friendly talkative. For fitness maintenance Kum super choice

Today started from train station in Hrastnik. Path relatively dry, so I didn't dirty more than shoes. On top despite high cloudiness super views. Descent via Čebulova dolina to Trbovlje train station. Path dry there too, annoying only the leaves which you tread on in the last part of the descent. At 11.40 already on the train home. LP

Foggy, wet and humid, muggy weather accompanied us on the way to Kum. There were no views, as if we did nothing more than a regular fitness training and refreshed the stocks of ticks, especially our companion Bobi.

This week from 1.7 to 7.7 food supply will be disrupted due to inventory, bar is open.
