I never really thought I'd go to Kum some day. That I'd have to ride the "cicka" too, even less. Well, just in case I took spare clothes, in case something went wrong and I had to swim, that's the least I'd need .
Since I lacked real courage at first, I insisted we ride together. But that was a mistake. We barely dragged ourselves to the opposite bank of the Sava with great difficulty, since cicka can't go up alone. Much better for one to ride alone and the other on land helps by turning the wheel or holding it when the other embarks. That's what we did on return, and it all worked.
The path yesterday was like a path amidst the green, through Škrat's valley. In the beginning everything was babbling, walking between two streams, left and right, jumping over water was inevitable. We continued on the old path, and below the summit hit first snow remnants. But already on the path we admired views of Nebeška gora, on top white KSA, Julian Alps a bit more hazy. Never mind, sitting on top in wonderful surroundings was great joy for both of us.

Yes, interesting. Nice description.
We rode each alone, one then turns the wheel to cross Sava quickly.
When we first planned this tour, I didn't dare get into cicka, so we went all around and started on the other side under cicka.

In case two ride, I'd advise the stronger one (e.g. in a couple usually the man) to sit on the right side of cicka, to pull the cable easier when needed. Because on the opposite side it's much harder. On return of course reverse.
Now need to guard your stuff well, since no door anymore, and there have been some.

With family we're doing the Transversal of RTV Slovenia transmitters.
We already have stamps from several transmitters. Usually somewhere on the fence there's a holder with stamp and logbook.
Today we visited Kum too. Didn't find holder anywhere on fence. We guessed the stamp might be in the hut, since really close. Asked the caretaker, who confirmed stamp is with them, but unfortunately together with us realized someone peeled off the bottom part of the stamp and stole it.
Can someone forward this to PD RTV, I was looking for their contact for transferzalo. Currently can't find it again.
As soon as stamp replaced, we'll repeat the trip.

We started later when it had warmed up a bit. The icicles of St. Neža or ice candles had already fallen down, on the way back there were almost none left. It was really pleasant on Kum today for this time of year.

Every year at least 3x to Kum. If you start in the valley you collect 1000m elevation, and also kilometers.
A few years ago we could still sit on that bench, on Sunday we had to look for it.
