One question!
The plan is a visit to Konj peak, but such that it will also be a two-day thing. Where to sleep? We will leave the car in Kamniška Bistrica and go via Presedljaj to Konj, but then where?

The tour over Konj is more of a one-day trip, but if you really want to overnight, extend the route to Velika Planina and sleep in one of the huts on Mala Planina (Domžalski, Jarški or Črnuški hut) and then next day descend via Planina Dol to the valley (that way you won't have too far to the car). If you were to descend from Planina e.g. via Primož to Stahovica, someone would have to drive you back to the car.
Alternatively, you can ascend to Konj in the opposite direction: first to Planina Dol, then to Rzenik, to Konj summit and then descend to Presedljaj, then extend the tour to Korošica and overnight there. But such a tour is of course more demanding, because you have the climbing part on descent.

Even better ... extend the tour to Korošica and overnight there. Of course then from Konj descend back to the junction - to Presedljaj, that takes about 10 minutes. You won't regret it.

Just an idea:
Start: In Stahovica towards Sv. Primož and then across Pasje Pečine to Velika Planina, overnight in one of the huts. Next day continue across nice pastures (Velika, Konjščica, Dol, Rzneik) to Konj and descend via Presedljaj to the valley.
Way back can spice up with hitchhiking, bus or foot on Koželjeva path along Kamniška Bistrica river.

After a long time we visited Konj again.
Namely from Lučka Bela up the marked trail, then across Dedec slope a bit on our paths, then down marked trail to Presedljaj and again up to Konj. Back the same. Nice, slightly longer tour.

17.08.2012. Konj
Ascent from parking in Bela, then all up to Presedljaj. On ropes, brackets and pegs, and wooden steps to summit. Entry in book and down past Rzeniška planina all to Dol. Plan was further to Domžale hut, but I ran out of strength and time, went down to Kraljev hrib and overnight in Kamniška Bistrica.
Thanks to the couple who saved me when I was still quite thirsty... my liquid finished before Presedljaj, little water from torrent didn't help.
And criticism - path is criminally marked, who goes first time (like me) will have quite a few problems. Start is completely unmarked (have to ask), that little mark all faded... Last two torrent crossings not well marked, seems path goes vertically up ... near top when path more demanding some ropes also ruined.

If you don't know how to move in high mountains, better stay home and don't criticize markers who renovated whole path from Konj top to Presedljaj last year. Don't know where problem is, probably in your head

Yes lower part is really bit worse as torrents and snow damage path every year, upper part was completely renovated last year so don't know where problem there unless something new torn off, we'll check. Below at path start this year and last much forest cut so markings gone with wood understandable. But believe problem for hiker first time on path if not well marked searches where and how as not all born adventurers. This path otherwise renews PD Domžale, will be renovated this year too from Presedljaj to Korošica as much scree so PD Kamnik will assist so path nicer and safer, happy safe step in mountains to all we will try further as much as in our powers.

@bdolmovi the path itself also below doesn't pose a problem for walking, the only thing really missing is, as you say... with the clearing the markings went away too. Otherwise the path from the saddle Presedljaj is completely o.k. (well, at least it was in spring) and without problem. But since the path is very well described on the forum, print and "plonk ceglc" with you, it'll go that way too. Thanks to you for trying and making our paths nice and safe.

I see that I offended some here, so I apologize...
My problem is that I most like to go on ascents that are near me. Kalnik and Ravna Gora are phenomenal, but really phenomenally marked, and maybe I have the standard set a bit too high. Nothing... Donačka Gora, Ivanščica and Boč don't lag much behind them.
The start of Konj from in front of Bela is really not marked at all. Only after half an hour walking, when you come to the branch for Orgljice, the first time you see arrows that tell you you're on the path to Presedljaj. When from the Viewpoint with bench you go slightly down there are no markings and it seemed to me logical to go up the gully... Simply, no markings, and in my opinion that's the place where marking should show where next.
At least one of the chains is no longer in its place. OK, I don't say it's not possible without it, but if it was there it would be easier.
And it's true. This was my highest peak so far in hiking. And first time in KSA. And it must be said I have no experience in high mountains. Unfortunately in Croatia there are no Alps nor higher mountains, at least not where I live (Varaždin). My criticism was well-intentioned, I think everyone agrees that at the parking at path start need to put an arrow. And that need to put new chain,

Marked path valley Dol, Rzenik, Konj. Until noon there was little rain so no major problems to the top of Konj. On the way back I used crampons because it is icy in places; otherwise no wind so the cold wasn't too bad. Of course tomorrow it will be quite different as they forecast heavier precipitation all week. Good luck to all mountaineers.

On Tuesday I visited Konj with the help of a one-way ticket for the cable car to Velika Planina. The pastures are more or less still completely deserted, from afar you occasionally hear some saw. Above pasture Dol there are some fallen trees in places, because of which I also nicely strayed from the path and got caught in the dwarf pine trap.
