Today from Bela. Before the rest place some fallen trees, with some ingenuity they can be bypassed. From Presedljaj onwards winter conditions. Snow completely soft in places, partially frozen elsewhere, towards the summit some ice.

Hi,
what's the current state of the Presedljaj-Konj path from Bela, for someone who doesn't know the path? Is it just some fallen trees across an otherwise followable path, or something more demanding?
I'm asking from the view of the last major treefall from 2023, from previous posts.

The poll asks if we've been to the top of Konj.
Not only was I at the top of Konj (1803). Konj was my first peak in high mountain career altogether. I visited it twice.
The only regret is I never found that legendary Martinj trail...

Yes, it's quite overgrown, but has nothing to do with Konj. Try from Kopišč towards Dol, it's more followable than vice versa.

The easiest is if you go via planina Dol, then planina Rzenik and then to Konj. But try at suitable weather, because I heard that once someone was blown off Konj over the precipice by strong wind.

Martinj trail (or, locally it's apparently Mrtn trail) is much less frequented since the floods two years ago, as since then from below it's much harder to find the entrance. Especially if you don't know the terrain.
Finding the entrance from the top wasn't the easiest even before. At this time it's also (or will be) full of beech leaves, due to the steepness and exposure I don't recommend descent in that.
I've done the loop many times up via Martinj trail, Rzenik and Konj and down via Presedljaj and Bela.

I also go from Kraljev hrib via Planina Dol and Pl. Rzenik to Konj. But this season I finally went for the first time from Bela (on the path to Korošica) over Prešedljaj and it was great, I'll probably repeat it soon.
