Today with colleagues I did a tour to Konj via Bela, Presedljaj, Konj, Planina Dol, and via planina Konjščica to Velika planina. At Jarški dom we refreshed a bit then descended over Pasje peči to Stahovica. Conditions excellent except some wind gusts. This part very crumbly, better check if hold really holds. Not much snow, some "patches" so ice axe and crampons stayed in backpack. Fixed protections in fairly good condition.

I also did the tour to Konj today, but a bit differently: Kraljev hrib, Planina Dol, Konj, Presedljaj, Bela. Windy at the top, otherwise gorgeous...

Today I went on a shorter tour, mainly due to the forecasted afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Specifically from Planina Dol to Konj.
Practically no hikers, only met the owner of the hut on Planina Rzenik during the ascent, and on top of Konj one couple who came to the top via Presedljaj. On the return another middle-aged couple.
The path was somewhat slippery in places due to rain from previous days, but passable without issues.
On top I had great luck with the weather, had sun, views above expectations... When I started descending, clouds came, which later dropped their load...
But it was obviously a real highway to Velika Planina. Tons of cars along the road... Konj though calm, peaceful, above all rewards with wonderful views all around.

No pics unfortunately, camera (point-and-shoot) let me down, so pics are disastrous. Gotta slowly get something better, new...

Yesterday I was on Konj, very nice tour. Starting point from Orglice waterfall, really nicely arranged marked path, new cables at the top, praise that they take care of this path like that.

If something is gifted, it shouldn't be lost and so I head to Konj, the one without mane so doesn't throw me into nettles. Leave car a bit beyond Marjaninih fields and along road towards Planina Dol, where it was cold so I put on hat. From there along little path marked with cairns. Met a real gnome on the way. Whoever set it up let him know it still laughs but doesn't share ducats. But Konj shared beautiful views, I filled up on mountain air properly.
Path dry all the way, no trace of hikers.

... yeah that's how it is now, if you want a bit more crowd, of course until no snow yet, head that direction where huts are still open,... Blejska hut, hut on Komna,... there you'll find hikers. More of them to the hut of course, last time on Lanživica we met no one.

Jelica, I really have no desire to feel like in a department store in the mountains. What I wrote was more about the rhyme.
Do you miss the flowers already? Yesterday I still saw little gentians.

Today, despite not the best weather forecast, I go chasing sun rays to the mountains. I drive to Kamniška Bistrica, hesitate between Kamniško sedlo and Konj. Since Konj pulls me for a long time, I go there, start: lower cable car station to Velika Planina. Path to Planina Dol nice, now and then sun ray through clouds gives hope for sun at top. Planina Dol fully in cloud, meet two hikers from Velika Planina. About 100 elevation meters from Planina Dol to Planina Rzenik put on microspikes, path sometimes very icy. Not much snow, but on path moments of solid ice. Planina Rzenik greets in cloud too, but after few 10 elevation meters to sun. Hurry bit to summit, all highest peaks clear, Kamniško sedlo foggy. Konj good choice today Rest bit, photo, enjoy views (not for nothing say from Konj one best views on KSA!!), after less than half hour wind blows me down.
Halfway down no special, watch ice and from Planina Dol to start, so much leaves locally you tread on them  Quite annoying no idea what's under, root rock hole... When to valley, irony - sun everywhere!
Oh, summit box no working pen, couldn't sign. If someone goes up take pen

I know last year a nationwide action of path markers was planned for fixing the climbing path to Konj. Wonder if it was really completed to the end and if logbook and stamp now at right summit!?

In July finished works: renewed secured part with cables and pegs, cut scrub, and built new summit box on highest part of Konj summit - where approacher normally expects it.
