rasto_r, personally I like better from the saddle Presedaljaj to Konj, but it totally depends on what you prefer; on ledges and cables up or down...

Usually one goes the harder way up, descends the easier path. For safety and because one is usually tired from the ascent. So better from Presedljaj up than down. I haven't done it yet, so let someone add more.

We went from Konj to Presedlaj. It was no big deal. One decides based on experience, physical and mental fitness.... I agree, better to choose the easier for descent. Good luck and stay safe in the mountains

I find it interesting that in guidebooks descriptions are practically everywhere "from Konj to Presedljaj". Logically it's exactly the opposite of what I would decide based on all logic (up the harder way, down the easier) (most tempting for me is via Orglic to Presedljaj, then to Konj and over Rzenik and Dol to the valley. Or is the favoritism of these descriptions in the reverse direction just because of easier access/less ascent - start at Velika Planina (gondola).

Can't you even look at the cameras  ? According to the cameras it'll be 100% dry, just watch out for snakes. I looked today from around LJ. and Kalški greben is already almost dry, elsewhere snow reaches lower, but the sun's power will make dry conditions on southern slopes by Saturday (mid-mountains).

There is snow on Velika Planina reaching somewhere up to 1300 m.
If you looked at the picture on the VP site, it's not the current "live" picture.
