Unterer Saldurkopf

Description:
Unterer Saldurkopf is 2501 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 6 km west-southwest from the center of Kurzras - Maso Corto and 9 km northeast from the center of Matsch -Mazia. The nearest mountain hut is Oberetteshütte - Rifugio Oberettes, located 3km north. A little further is bivouac Wetterhütte. 1.6 km east from the summit there is glacier Saldurferner - Vedretta di Saldura, 1.8 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Ramudelferner - Vedretta di Ramudla. The peak is located in the valley Vinschgau - Val Venosta.
