Description:
Stotz is 2884 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 1.7 km east of peak Lagaunspitze - Punta di Lagaun. The nearest mountain hut is Oberetteshütte - Rifugio Oberettes, located 5km northwest. A little further is bivouac Schäferhütte. 1.8 km west from the summit there is glacier Lazaunferner - Vedretta di Lazaun, 2.0 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Lagaunferner - Vedretta di Lagaun. The peak is located in the valley Vinschgau - Val Venosta.
