Description:
Lazaunspitze is 3313 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located in country Italy 0.5 km north-northwest of peak Saldurspitze - Punta Saldura. The nearest mountain hut is Oberetteshütte - Rifugio Oberettes, located 3km northwest. A little further is bivouac Wetterhütte. East from the summit there is glacier Lazaunferner - Vedretta di Lazaun, 0.6 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Saldurferner - Vedretta di Saldura. The peak is located in the valley Vinschgau - Val Venosta.
