Spitzat is 3038 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located in country Italy 2 km northwest of peak Saldurspitze - Punta Saldura. The nearest mountain hut is Oberetteshütte - Rifugio Oberettes, located 1.2km north-northwest. bivouac Wetterhütte is also relatively close. 1.8 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Saldurferner - Vedretta di Saldura, 2.0 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Lazaunferner - Vedretta di Lazaun.
