Hochwarte

Description:
Hochwarte is 2646 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 8 km east-southeast from the center of Zwieselstein and 9 km east-northeast from the center of Obergurgl. The nearest mountain hut is Siegerlandhütte, located 4km north-northeast. A bit closer is Bankalm, which is located 1.7km to the south-southeast. 3 km north from the summit there is glacier Hangender Ferner, 6 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Triebenkarlasferner. West of the summit is the valley Timmelstal.
