Slemenova špica

Description of mountain:
Few people are unfamiliar with the iconic view of Jalovec from Sleme, often featured on calendars with a small lake in the foreground and the majestic mountain behind. Slemenova špica lies just a few dozen metres above the lakes. Only fog can obstruct the view of Jalovec. From the peak, the Planica ski jumps and the summits above the Tamar valley are clearly visible. The summit is usually covered in sheep droppings; the old registration box was located about a minute below the top on a tree trunk, while the new one, complete with stamp, is placed directly on the summit of Slemenova špica.
