Can someone tell me how the path to Tosc is, is the mountain still under snow, is there a track, is there still avalanche danger. Is anyone going up at all? Thanks and best regards.

Tosc.... Nice mountain with few visitors. The path is nice, lots of flowers. Below Studorski preval, lots of different bellflowers bloom. On the steep slope towards Tosc, besides meadow flowers, there are also lots of gentians and edelweiss. But only to the cairn where Debeli vrh shows up. Further on, only small alpine flowers. On the top, the nicest views in this area..

It's passable, there were 8 cars there, but there's a sign that traffic is prohibited. At 6:00 no workers yet, around 10:00 a truck made it up (today's info).

Tomorrow I planned to go to Tosc via pl. Konjščice and now noticed this post.
Is there any reason the road is closed?
Probably still passable tomorrow, or do I have to change starting point to Rudno polje?

The road has been closed for some time due to timber extraction. You can park at the parking lot if you are early. When they start working, you might have to wait until they finish.

Timber extraction. I left the car before the barrier today, then they drove past me. Don't know how it was later, returned past barracks.

No more flowers, but the path to Tosc is autumn-colored these days. Morning in shady spots around Studorski preval icy, on the saddle between little and big Tosc today some soft snow for winter atmosphere. Views were reserved for those who get up early

Today from Rudno polje up the eastern gully to Tosc. Some ice on the path and caution needed all the way to Klancov, where more solid snow starts so crampons went on there.
Path to the gully entrance good, hard snow, a bit wind-packed in places, but all normal.
Conditions in the gully itself wonderful, 4x4 + experience and it goes nicely to the exit. A bit windy on the summit itself so snack time a bit lower.
Descent via southern path, where corn snow below was already causing trouble.
