Majdag; I checked quite a few entries on your blog; of course the latest from Špik too. Very nice and also useful. Especially the map or GPS track at the end. Can you tell which device or app you use?

Zlatica, Gorska planika, Gor nik, thanks all. There were many of us on the top then. Maybe we meet somewhere else. Gor nik, I use small GPS, and I have to say it doesn't always record the path. Then on GPS Visualizer I add this recorded, saved path. Click Draw the map and the map shows. Click top right on view and then on Google hybrid – OpenTopoMap and trim it as wanted and size. Sometimes I'm really surprised how many names it writes for me, but not always. Safe step to all!

No one responded with a warning or opinion... So I went to check tonight.
Started at 3 from Jasna. Snow starts in the woods above the secured part. The track from the woods onwards is made in the middle of the gully. In the next days some small avalanche will still trigger in my opinion (not an expert). Danger of falling rocks and ice. South-facing snow is deep so it sinks to the ass and beyond...
Didn't reach the summit, it started raining (it turned out to be just a small short shower).

At 11.54 three hikers got stuck on Frdamanih police, municipality Kranjska Gora, who didn't dare descend to the valley due to avalanche risk. Mountain rescuers GRS Kranjska Gora and Mojstrana, crew with SV helicopter and on-duty team GRS - Brnik intervened. Hikers transported unharmed to the valley.

I turned back on Saturday 150m below the summit... knee-deep tramping took too much time, so around 11:30 I decided to return - conditions (new snow, sinking knee-deep, heat, still not avalanched areas) became quite delicate... saw hikers in the Frdamanih police area... and when I was already down at the forest edge, still a helicopter...
