Nice, this Planjava, yeah, and dangerous as we know, unfortunately... With my partner we did it on 16.7. from Logarska over Kopinškova and Ojstrica then over Škarije. Then to Kamniško sedlo, hut at Okrešelj and past Rinka waterfall back to Logarska. A bit longer but beautiful tour

On Saturday I climbed to Planjava over Srebrno sedlo. We three started the ascent at the parking behind planina Podvežak. Road clear, except last 500 m some snow. Snow conditions excellent. To Korošica no problems. Further towards Srebrno sedlo (cca. 40 min) slightly sinking (rotten snow). Further again excellent conditions (packed frozen snow). At altitude cca. 2000 m my two companions decided to turn back, I continued to the summit. After 6 hours reached the top. On descent the last 2 hours night caught me. After 10 hours we finished the tour back at planina Podvežak. Magnificent but very long tour.

Yesterday around nine o'clock, winter-equipped, I headed towards the saddle. I deliberately started late, as forecasters had warned of some rain drops even for the morning. In the end it turned out I should have started walking half an hour later. I ignored a few surprised looks like "what's this guy doing with an ice axe", since for most hikers the saddle was the goal. It came in handy for me on three snow patches out of at least twelve in total.
At the saddle the winter room is open, although people used it very little and sought shelter around the hut. Well, I changed in it and quenched my thirst, and continued towards Planjava. Two more started a bit later behind me, I saw no other people up there. I cooled down a bit waiting for the sun at the top, my knees warmed up only during the descent from the saddle.
Road to Jermanca super, also no anomalies on the cables and pegs (those that were dry) towards Planjava, but I noticed the path to the saddle is damaged in several places because the steps are torn out.

Camera data is perfectly fine, it was snowing there too during the rain, but rain prevailed.

I strongly doubt it, Marjan. Maybe I'd believe if Grintovec wasn't in the picture.

I monitored today's events today in KSA - Krvavec, V. Planina, both mentioned saddles.. Snow fell at all these locations, but apparently stuck only at Kamniško saddle, which is also the highest of the mentioned..

Grintovec's visible field is at least 300m above Kamnik saddle.

At least up to 2200m dry under Grintovec, at the Kamniško Saddle location, but snow at 1800m. That's an interesting phenomenon

Microclimate.
Some time ago more than 20 cm of snow fell in Kočevje, while it was still raining in Kranjska.
